I think it took me almost a decade to get over missing fall foliage in New England. I really, really need a little "changing of the leaves." It's odd to live in a perpetually static weather environment. I wish I could get in my car and find an old country road to take me no where. I'd have to drive all the way up to Big Bear two hours away for that. I wish I were raising my three kids in the nature I grew up in. I’m from New Hampshire and now live just outside of Los Angeles.
