I know this feeling all to well. It is the same feeling I used to get postpartum. I would feel depressed because things in my life had drastically changed and I would go through a few days of sadness and uncertainty. Don't get me wrong I was ecstatic about all three of my birth experiences but even so there was a feeling of loss because things were irreversibly different now. Life would go on as usual for everyone but me and that made me a bit sad. I am not sure quite how to explain it. I felt … [Read more...]

Blood Diamond
Before my hospitalization I had the rare chance to see a movie in the theatres. I chose Blood Diamond with Leonardo Dicaprio. Heart Attack on a Bun

Refresh--The Everyday Spa at Whole Foods Market opened last week in a store in Dallas, where the company is headquartered. The prototype is serving as a test bed for consumer acceptance of spas within grocery stores, before any rollout. Looking to create a tranquil environment within the giant-sized suburban … [Read more...]

I had bad pains in my chest area and taking deep breaths would cause stabbing pain. So after 3 hours of trying to ignore it I decided to go to the ER. My chemo status automatically got me admitted. Well, they did X-rays, a CAT scan, an MRI, an ultrasound, a hyrdoscan (spelling?), and lots of blood tests. It turns out I had pancreatitis because my … [Read more...]
