I can testify to the value of omega 3 - both fish oil and flaxseed. My daughter has fantastic hand/eye control and I took it all the way through my pregnancy. It's also wonderful for hair and skin. These days I slip a teaspoon of flax oil in her yogurt. Flax oil isn't as perfect as the ground seed but it's got to be better than nothing. Just keep it in the fridge and not for longer than 6 weeks once opened. Have you read Dr. Leo Galland's book, "Superimmunity for Kids." It's fascinating and he swears by flax. Also see my article on Essential Fatty Acids: http://www.mamawell.com/mamawell/2006/11/how_essential_a.html#more

I think this research is confirming a few things about fish oils that I have long suspected.

Thanks for the link.

What do you think of the study? Since you follow the research, do you think it tells you anything new in the grand scheme of things?
