I just found this great clip over at YouTube and it makes for a nifty 2 minute project to save money and water…two very important things to conserve. It also addresses the fact that many people can’t just up and decide to replace toilets with the newer, more efficient models. I have a bit of a problem in that regard in that two toilets in my house are strange colors that were custom built to match the tiles and fixtures. One is baby blue and the other is bubblegum pink. They are totally retro and cool! It would suck to have to replace these toilets as they are so perfect for the space and they work just fine.
I also like the fact that this clip shows another use for an object that might normally get tossed. I usually don’t buy plastic milk jugs but it just so happens that I missed my bulk shopping day last week I did pick up 3 milk jugs AND I have 3 toilets….perfect. Here is too saving money and water!
I’ve been meaning to do that for years. Now I think I will. Thanks for the inspiration!
Wow, I had never heard of that before. I’ll have to make a note to remember this when out milk jub is empty. :)
Me too! Funny how these things just catch you on a specific day and it just clicks into place.
Awesome! I am so doing that!
I have an extreme phobia of drains, pipes, and the backs of toilets! I’ll have to buck up, brave up, and watch this…I feel as though I’d be missing out if I didn’t ;)
This is a very cool idea. Thanks for sharing.
