Thanking for providing such a thorough review. So many hurdles created by our government to prevent us living in a more healthier way including making the choice to eat more food locally/regionally grown. How is it now that all this food is processed/sterilized that our kids have developed so many odd allergies to natural foods. We're having a tempest in my jurisdiction about all the nuts, milk, eggs, wheat and other things that can not be included in many kids lunches because some kids in the class have allergies to them.

I'm just wondering what is causing this huge increase in allergies...there's got to be some link to all this processed food.

Good work Tiffany!

Hey can I pick your brain? What type of cups do you use at the dinner table for your family? I would like to get away from plastic cups but I'm tired of broken glass cups. I picked up a few enamelware cups but I'm not sure if that's for sure the way to go. Also, I recently heard that stainless steel can contain lead so I'm paranoid about using my once thought "safe" stainless steel pots. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Its interesting that the govt. wants you to eat only things that have been "sterilized" through their processes. Its funny, but after going to other countries in South America and eating there, i notice that I loose a lot of weight and I am in fact eating more that I do when I am in the states. Could there be a link between obesity in the US and the "sterilization" and "preservation" processes we use?

I think so, but then again its just my opinion from my personal experience.

Thanks for this review! I had not yet heard of this book. Sounds like it's right up my alley, that is if I can avoid getting depressed over it.
