New Jersey Poised to Make Vaccines Required by Law!

Remember my post about the Maryland school board falsely telling parents that vaccines were required by law? Well another US state, New Jersey, has announced plans to make 4 vaccines required by law for ANY child attending a licensed preschool or daycare. As you can imagine this would make a large number of non vaccinating parents criminals. At this time they would have NO rights to claim an exemption. I am so upset about this I really can’t even discuss it. I absolutely cannot believe that a country founded on the basis of freedom from tyranny can find anything of this sort to be acceptable.     I have already sent the link to all of my family and friends in NJ and I know they will act.
    My mother and I were just talking about the autism rate in NJ and how crazy it is. One neighbor child of hers stopped speaking completely after his 15 month shots. That alone changed her view dramatically and now she is advocating for the right side!! or the common sense side!

    This makes me so angry!! This question may sound silly, but I am not sure of the protocol when it comes to writing government officials. Can we write letters and emails even if we don’t live in NJ?

    This is outrageous and appalling! Let’s just hope we can act fast enough to stop this from happening. We have the right as parents and free citizens to raise our children as best as we see fit, and not be dictated to in such a way.

    Lexi anyone can call. If they ask why you are interested just tell them you want to prevent other states from thinking this will fly with parents. I have been making some calls myself.

    We will be homeschooling, so it would be easy to say that this doesn’t concern us. But this is just the first step, what’s to stop them from making it universal? It needs to be nipped in the bud.

    I’m *extremely* upset bout this, too. My hubby told me about this, today, and told me that I wouldn’t want to live back in my home state, anymore.

    He’s right! How can they do this?!! Our children do *not* belong to the state*or* the government! *We* know what’s best for our children, not them! Grrrrrrrrr!!!

    I’d go back to homeschooling even though I have three LD kids, one of whom is *very* difficult for me (not his teachers–he wants to please *them!* :-)) to teach.

    I’m spitting PISSED (excuse the mouth on me!) about this. I’m angry and upset for the parents in NJ and scared for the rest of us, because it will spread to other states. Before you know it, we’ll all be required to vaccinate!

    I feel you should be required to have your children vaccinated. There is a more likely chance that your children will get sick and die with out the vaccines rather than if you get them vaccinated. Why take that chance as a parent? The pros of vaccinating completely out way the cons. I feel that it should be a NJ state law, if your children aren’t vaccinated you should go to jail. I know several stories where parents didn’t vaccinate their children and they died, from whooping cough, scarlett fever, complications from chicken pox, and even meningococcal meningitis. It’s scary.     Ugh….are you for turning America in a closed democracy with no personal liberties or freedoms either? I just love the logic that anyone NOT injecting their child with potential toxins should be jailed for caring so much.

    Christina, you are taking your “chances” either way. When I vaccinated my oldest I was told that vaccines were completely safe. Now I have an epileptic, brain damaged, child on the outskirts of the autism spectrum and would give anything to be able to go back and say no to the vaccine that did this too him. I find it REALLY insensitive for you to say a parent should be jailed for trying to avoid that fate for their most beloved child.Thousands of children are seriously hurt EACH YEAR by vaccines and that is unacceptable. But I guess my child and those children are acceptable losses for you????

    Regarding Christina’s comment…how dare you say that my son doesn’t matter. My son was born normal and healthy until 5 days after his second round of vaccines when he began having seizures. My normal happy son was turned into a 10 month old who weighed 38 pounds and had high blood pressure because of the ACTH needed to control his Infantile Spasms. Now, he has Epilepsy, possibly Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, he may not live to be 10 years old. He is severely developementally delayed and continues to have seizures. Those vaccines stole my baby boy. He is now 21 months old and we love him with all our heart, but thanks to vaccines, every day we wonder how long we will have him and frankly it’s not a great quality of life. Don’t try to tell me how to care for my son. I followed the law and had him vaccinated…what did it do but destroy any chance for my son to have a normal life. I hate vaccines, maybe you should read up on some of the horrible things that happen to people who are vaccinated. My son is not a test subject for you or the world. He is not expendable. How dare you? Come to my home and see pictures of my son before he got sick, see my son now. Tell Jacob to his face that it doesn’t matter that he’s sick because it’s the law. Tell Jacob that it doesn’t matter because he’s only one in a thousand to get sick. How dare you!! 1 is too many…What if it was your child?
