I remember hearing something awhile back about Monsanto trying to get rid of the hormone free labeling on milk. I think it is such a shame that this is how they want to maintain their market dominance. They genetically manipulate everything they touch and then get mad when people realize what is going on and try to buck the system.

I'm very glad that in Colorado I am able to buy a cow share which gets me raw milk from a small family owned dairy. I know they don't use hormones and I know they aren't grain fed. Honestly I'm not sure what I would do without them. But with knowledge comes responsibility. I don't just own a cow share I also joined a coalition to keep raw milk available.

Thanks for your timely post about girly products. I HATE those chemical laden pads and never feel comfortable. I should have learned about the better alternatives years ago!

Also, I just watched a movie about Monsanto a few days ago. They are scary, scary. Big brother is watchin'!

It strikes me as too funny that they would put Madonna on a green issue... the woman who spends $10,00 on bottled water each MONTH?

Did you find that strange Tiffany? They could certainly have picked a better representative.

I just love your blog. So many great ideas and so many great links. I would be interested to read a blog about what a typical week of eating looks like at your house.
