I recently had the pleasure of reading The Green Parent by Jenn Savedge. This is one of the few books out there aimed directly at parents and how to raise kids that appreciate and understand eco friendly living. The size of the book is small but it is jammed packed with good information and tips of greener living for families. I really like the format. Eye Opening Thoughts on Public Education
A couple days ago I was using that wonderful Internet tool called Stumbleupon (SU). If you are not familiar with it...basically you join, you choose the type of web sites you like to surf (aka parenting, homemaking, gardening, etc.) you download the SU toolbar and then when you hit the Stumble button on your toolbar you get taken to a random site or blog that matches your preferences. The Big Green Spring Clean
Well, it is that time. Time for spring cleaning. This week I did a lot of thinking about what exactly I need to do and I will have my hands full for sure. This is that once a year time when my house gets scrubbed until it looks like brand new inside and out.
