Another good one that I've been using is DISH Remote Access from my provider/employer DISH Network. Basically what I did was purchase a Sling Adapter from DISH, hooked it up to my services at home, downloaded the DRA app to my iPad and now have the ability of watching anything live or recorded from home on my iPad anywhere I go. My kids love it during our long trips because they are occupied with their favorite cartoons. I love it because they are occupied and I get to do a little catching up too when they pass out! Lol. We recently took a road trip with our 20 month old daughter and the DVD player was a life saver. But we never had time! We were too busy walking on nature trails, playing on the beach, visiting museums, our days were filled until we piled into a tent or hotel room and fell asleep. On the rides we discussed politics, read books and listened to oldies. We played "slug bug" (although we included the hitting part) and called out the license plates of cars from foreign states.
