Acme Reusable Bags and a Pop Quiz

Acme PET tote bagYou can never have too many of these right? LOL. Well, I don’t think so! I recently donated some of my bag collection to a nice family that didn’t have the fundage to invest in some of their own. And like clockwork one of my all time favorite online stores, sent me some new ones to try. This was my first time trying the heavy duty Acme line and I think I am hooked on their simplicity, durability, and affordability.

PET Dual Handled Tote ($14.95)This Acme tote is made from recycled plastic bottles and containers using fair labor/wages. It is very strong and not scratchy like some materials that are that made from recycled plastic. I love that it is made using materials already in the waste stream. The charcoal/black color is cool too.

I also got one of their standard cotton canvas totes. These are pretty universal.workhorse bag

The Acme Workhorse bag is really very similar to the Chico Bags that I have already have but I like the Acme ones better. These bags fold in on themselves into a little carrying case that is small enough to fit in your pocket…no fooling. I could fit 10 of these into my very small purse. That is awesome! They are made of rip-stop nylon that will not tear and they hold up to 25 pounds.

My fave of the bunch though was the Acme Earth Tote. It is fab! Made with armor-like, ultra-durable 600 Earth Tote Bagdenier Cordura nylon it has a lifetime guarantee. It stands up on its own for easy packing which is cool, the earthy colors are great, and I adore the pocket in the front that I can use for my pocketbook or my shopping list. It has the same footprint as a paper bag but you can keep using it over and over unlike paper. You can also get this bag in a recycled PET version too.

Okay now I have a quiz for you! How cool are you really? Be the first to tell me what celeb coined the word fundage and I will give you the first two bags on this list!

I have four of those Workhorse bags… love ’em! My son is just three months old and he doesn’t have many toys yet, so one bag holds all his toys. Another is his laundry bag, and the other two are available for outings. They really come in handy!
