I sent my letter of notice today. We are officially homeschooling. I am glad because I forgot to call the school to tell them my daughter wouldn't be attending today, and it dawned on me that they never called me to inform me my daughter was not there. I did feel a little guilty for a while and then thought why the heck wouldn't the mom put him on the free lunch program instead of the stealing lunch program. This is the same school I went to growing up and loved. I can't believe the changes that have taken place over time.
