Take Action – Tell the FDA No Thanks!
The FDA in their infinite wisdom ignorance, has declared BPA safe. They always put special interests like plastic companies and product manufacturing corporations before the health of people. Lucky for us, many consumers have spoken out so loudly against BPA that many companies have started labeling their products BPA Free so that consumers can decide. Raw Food for Kids
Just in case you missed it, I posted about kids and raw food over at my other blog. It is challenging IMO to commit to a raw foods diet because it is so different than what we all grew up and with. It also contrasts with what is considered the "norm" nowadays. Kids in particular can be hard to transition away from processed, chemical laden, nutritionally deficient cooked foods. Organic Milk for School Lunches
My daughter has to bring a snack and drink for lunch every day...non refrigerated. The snack part has been not so easy to figure out since she can't bring anything with nuts in it but the drink part was easy. For whatever reason my kids still like milk. Well, I do to if it is raw but we blow through our raw milk supplies too fast. I won't touch conventional milk but my kids like it so I still buy some, organic of course. First Day of School and a Storm
Haven't blogged in a couple days. Life took precedence for a bit, LOL. On Monday my daughter started school. She is going to a nice albeit a bit uptight private school. So far she really likes it. But I swear after ONE day they took my precious Paige and sent home Hannah Montana.
