I would love to hear more information about natural makeup/beauty products. I unfortunately can’t go aunatural all the time so anything better for myself and the environment that actually works would be fabulous!!!!

I love the green info i read here. I started using baking soda to scrub my hair and scalp and rinsing with white vinegar. works great, soft shiney hair and costs under a buck. What’s not to love.

Thanks for sharing your finds. I’ve found others (Aveda, Aubrey Organics, & Burts Bees) but I simply cannot afford Aveda & really like the fact you’ve done the research for me! (Hey, I admit, I’m a tad “lazy!” After 7 kids, I’m entitled! :P )

I’ve been a big fan of Aveda, but not so much after reading through their ingredients and comparing them at http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com. So, I am now looking for products that work just as well, or better, than Aveda and are good for me! Thanks so much for the info.

This was such a great post! I never realized all these companies existed and I had actually never heard of shampoo bars before – but it sounds great! We use Weleda for most products and LOVE it! Natural and smells great, not a fabricated scent.
