We have been trying to remodel it "green" but have not been able to locate affordable options for the most part. We did purchase Marmoleum for the flooring and are using Fresh Aire paint. It looks amazing! The tile people said the tile from that era is so much better than what you can find today, so it was cheaper to just spray the bathroom. Just something you may want to consider. Low flow=best. As far as the powder blue toilet...if it is older, it probably uses too much water as it is. It may be a greener option to get a new, low flow model. HTH! p.s.
