I have been busy, busy cleaning lately since the holidays are in full swing. I also had a camera crew in my house recently so I had to make sure everything would look good under the bright lights, LOL. I have had the pleasure of using some new green cleaners called Eco Discoveries. They have a large line of gentle and safe cleaners for the home and I think I have tried just about all of them and I think they are some pretty awesome products. They do the job they are intended to do and they are made with safe ingredients. They also don’t have an odor I could really detect which is awesome because most cleaners give me a headache. AND I break out in hives if I use chemical cleaners and with these I was hive free. :) The Multizyme for instance is made with water, enzymes (extracted from a natural fermentation of sugarcane) and surfactants (from coconuts) and citric acid (from lemons & limes). They are
Mostly I have been using the Multizyme, which is an all purpose cleaner. I use it on everything from kitchen counters to cabinets and stovetops. It wasn’t quite as good at getting rid of greasy spots in the kitchen but most gentle cleaners have that issue…it just took a little baking soda to get the job done.
I used the mold and mildew cleaner to spot clean in the basement after a humid summer with great success and I used the airzyme fragrance free odor eliminator down there too. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked and without using a perfumey smell to simply mask things (think Febrize). They also have cleaners for the kitchen, tub and tile, glass, and nursery. I give them a thumbs up! Now I am ready for guests!
Hello,
I am starting an on-line organic/natrural store in January and am looking for great products to stock for health conscious parents to purchase. I would like to check this product out and maybe stock it so it is easliy accessible to purchase.
Thanks!
Tracy
I have heard good things about this company before, but have yet to try it out. I am glad to hear that it worked great for you and by the way you have a lovely home.
Tracy,
Tiffany has reviewed several of our products on her fabulous site. If you’d like to get more information on them for your store, feel free to contact me.

You have such great suggestions on how to be eco-friendly! I wanted to give you a double surprise for always being so informative!

I make my own household cleaner (I call it my Hippie Spray :) but it does NOT tackle mold and mildew in the bathroom, so I’m glad to read that the mold and mildew cleaner from this company actually works!
Off-topic, but your beautiful gleaming kitchen and spotless dining room are impressively clean considering that you have 3 little kiddos in the house! You’re inspiring me to go scrub my own kitchen…but my 5 kids would trash it within moments :)
What were you filming for? Exciting. I think it is great you are using natural cleaners. I love just vinegar and water. Baking soda works wonder too. Back to the basics, simple cleaning with some lemon, water and baking soda.
The air in your home can be more toxic than the air outside, and therefore natural cleaners are the way to go to keep your family healthy. This company of green products sounds great, yet sometimes green companies have one hit product and the next isn’t as great.
GreenCupboards is a new company that gathers, tests, and certifies the best of the products on the market for bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room cleaning. They don’t make their own products, and they are independently owned and operated–so you know their testing is legit.
