This week my kids and I had the pleasure of reading Under the Night Sky, written by Amy Lunderbrek and illustrated by Anna Rich. I think it is a great book for green kids because it teaches them something valuable about the wondrous natural world around them. It is incredibly important to me that my kids love nature and and the natural world because I want them to see the importance of protecting it. Audio Books for Kids
I just LOVE books and that would include books on audio. Hubby and I have a nice collection of audio books that we listen to when we go on long car trips...like Harry Potter on audio. He actually got me started listening to audio books when he started collecting them while he was a driver trainer for a truck driving company. Stir Fry Set from Melissa and Doug
I just had to share this new pretend play food set I came across this morning. I admit I am a sucker for play food, especially cloth and wood. My daughter has lots of the sets for own play kitchen. BUT this set is one of the cutest I have seen. Handmade Toys, Narwhals, and Tree Houses
TGIF! Have an awesome weekend everyone! I do not have much to report on the personal front. I have been taking it easy and spending time with family. My hubby has had 2 weeks off work so far and he has two weeks off still this month...so a whole month of family time! Unfortunately he thinks that after the time off his company will be laying off most of their workers if not all of them until Spring...so he could be jobless here pretty soon.
