The author is married to a Native American man and uses her knowledge of their customs, practices, and unique viewpoints to show how being a parent is a growth process. Time for Art
Winter days are great for art! The snow is gone here, and the sun was shining, but the frigid 30 something temperature kept us indoors. Oh well, no matter. It is not hard for my little art lovers to find something to do. We broke out the soy and beeswax crayons today and they had blast. We colored some greeting cards to send to relatives too. Go Green! Go Barefoot!
I am a HUGE fan of Barefoot Books. My kids have many of their titles, some of which I reviewed here, like Whole World and The Boy Who Grew Flowers. Whole World is an amazing book with a music CD and it follows the popular children’s song The Whole World. Zoo Day
President's Day was free zoo day at The Columbus Zoo & Aquarium so hubs and I took the kids.
