This book was a really fun read for me. It is Emergency: This Book Will Save Your Life by Neil Strauss. When I picked it up and read some of the chapter titles like "How to Protect Yourself from Inflation, Hackers, and Celine Dion" or "Surviving Snipers, Dirty Bombs, and Salad Bars" I expected a funny book that would be "light" on useful information. Learning About the World
It is incredibly important to me that my kids learn about different people and different cultures. Perhaps it is the small town we are living in right now but I feel like I am stuck in the 1960s or something sometimes with the attitudes that prevail here and I do not want my kids to share that attitude.
