I like a blogger who does her research :D I tend to agree -I'd just as soon rather not buy anything made in China if it's going to touch my food, but we're talking about bare stainless steel here. Competition is good if it pulls this type of thing down out of the luxury strata. Won't it be nice when everyone owns one or two and they keep them for years? God willing, by the end of the decade, disposable plastic bottles will be as uncool as baby seal fur coats. OOoooooo… SNAP! I like a blogger who does her research :D

You have to spend extra to have them ship you a stainless steel one. Pura gives you the stainless steel cap with the stainless steel bottle you purchase. I am not sure how these johnny come lately outfits can pretend to have "created" anything when they are basically buying imitations from unscrupulous manufacturers overseas, who'll copy anything for a price. If you go to the KleanKanteen website you can see the history of the REAL bottle, the intention that went into its creation, and the energy that goes into ethical manufacturing and quality . . . all things seemingly missing from these fly-by-night companies. Go to alibaba.com and do a search . . . take out some money on your house, send an email and presto, you can be Pura too . . . at the cost of your soul perhaps. This isn't WalMart these people are ripping off, its a family business.
