I try my hardest not to use OTC meds when my family is feeling under the weather. Buying OTC was always a habit until I became informed and educated myself on the subject. I’m so glad I switched because each time we do manage to catch something, when I run to Whole Foods down the street instead of the super market, pharmacy or retail chain, we get over our illness much faster and with less discomfort than in years past. Sometimes friends and family look at me like I’ve gone overboard but they don’t bother arguing with me since they know how I feel about traditional medicines and they see the natural products working for my family. I’ve shared natural products and homeopathic concoctions with others when their methods don’t help and they are always pleased when the natural stuff does the job in less time with no ugly side effects. :)

I LOVE their products! I used the Camilla for teething and it was amazing. I’ve started using the Chestal and it does work just as well or better than OTC products. And the Oscillo is terrific as well. I’ve used it for flu in the past and i gave it to my DD when she got the flu recently. For both of us the flu was totally gone within 3 days using this product! Sure beats the 7-10 days without anything. I recommend their products to everyone i know and will likely give them out as Christmas gifts to my less enlightened family members.

I just picked some up from the store while shopping. I haven’t tried them yet but love taking the natural route over conventional medicine. We have been taking Thieves extract for a few months now and have managed to ward off any sickness. I take it orally and rub it into the kids feet. I love the idea of using them as shower gifts. I will be using that idea for one this weekend.

Boiron products have saved my sanity as a new mom. Cocyntal is an amazing colic remedy, Camilia helps so much with teething – and the belladonna in it also helps with fevers, and Corzaylia has helped my little one’s cold disappear in 3 days. I also really appreciate that they create products appropriate for inftants and children. I have found that they often sell out in stores near me so when I find them in stock I buy 2 or 3 boxes. They also make wonderful baby shower gifts, it can be so overwhelming to be a new mom, trying to make the best decisions but not knowing where to start looking.

I’ve been using homeopathic remedies for decades — I used to live in Mexico where there’s a homeopathic drugstore practically on every corner.

But how do I get bigger sizes? Those tiny tubes are just too small, especially since now I have to drive two hours to find a drugstore that carries them

Their products really work! Their Camilla is the best teething remedy we found. I’ve used the Coldcalm several times and it does take the edge off without making me feel like a zombie. (I hate how I feel when I have taken OTC cold meds in the past!)
