I've had a great month with thrift store shopping. I bought 2 board games in great condition for less than $4 each. The Value Village in my city does a 50% off day twice a year. At their most recent one, two weeks ago, I scored big! I bought 20 items of children's clothing for $44 - including numerous medium sized boys button down and polo shirts in excellent condition. Some of them won't fit him for another year, but at that price it sure helps to grab them when you see them. There is a kidswap on facebook in many communities, where people post photos of their garage sale items, from clothing to toys to strollers. On that, I found a used electronic toy for my kids - not the latest & greatest but my children will think it's fabulous. It's discontinued and so people sell it for cheap now. I have also bought alot of clothing from that site.

You're always lucky to get nice and fuzzy items like that! Those items are quite expensive if purchase on its original price. Good thing, you have found a treasure. Keep posting!

I hit Goodwill just yesterday and found a school uniform shirt for my daughter and some beautiful baskets to use for holiday gift baskets.

I bought a similar picnic basketto yours last summer for a family trip to Tennessee. But mine have hard plastic plates and cups but it is still a great basket. They retail brand new for $80 and up, I know I priced them out. I found one on ebay and spent less than $15 with shipping then got mad because the local Salvation Army had one a few weeks later for $2 but it was missing pieces and had some dents in the wicker.

I love treasure hunting at Thrift Stores.

Some people think it's icky. I love it and always feel like I am on a treasure hunt.
