I found that watching Food Inc didn't make it more difficult to eat, it helped limit food options which made choosing food easier (and rationalized spending a bit more sometimes for local and organic). Yes, I still buy the super sale for chicken once in a while since I'm breastfeeding and crave it like crazy for the protein. But overall, the movie just helps you to see that food is like medicine for your body, and what you put into it should only be the best. It also helps to see that we can all make a difference in stopping unfair treatment of animals.

I haven't heard of this before so I will have to check it out. I too haven't seen Food Inc. I worry that if I watch it I will never be able to eat again.

Thanks for posting about this Tiffany. I'm eager to get my hands on this somehow since we don't have the channel it will be on. I assume it might come out in video? I'll keep my eyes peeled!

The seagull autopsy was just devastating to watch.

And no, you're not the only one who hadn't seen Food, Inc. We might rent it this weekend.

Thanks for bringing both of these important films into the spotlight on your blog.
