Plastics. I can hardly say the word without making the "yuck" face. Don't get me wrong I understand that plastics have done some wondrous things for us, especially in medicine and in medical devices. But plastics are EVERYWHERE these days. Corporate America is telling me I need to drink out of plastic, eat off of plastic, wrap my food in plastic, carry my stuff in plastic bags, store my kids toys in plastic, and buy up single use plastics as much as possible to make my like easier. Being Grateful for My Good Life Every Day
This post brought to you by Allstate. All opinions are 100% mine. I am not generally an optimistic person. I don't see the glass as half full without a little effort. I worry a lot. I stress a lot. My stomach being tied in knot is almost a daily occurance. It doesn't have to be over anything big either. I take little stresses … [Read more...]
A Quick Fix – Removing Mildew Smell From Laundry
As the weather warms my kids are staying outside longer. The garden house is already being turned on for quick sprinkler sessions when they get overheated from play. Soon they will be in the pool. So how do I get it … [Read more...]

I am in the middle of the above photo along with some of my online and IRL friends... Shane at Environmental Booty, Lori at Groovy Green Livin, Diane at Big Green Purse, and Leigh Ann of Green 4 U. I simply adore these ladies! It's always exciting when a new eco themed movie comes … [Read more...]
Holiday Weekend? Go RVing and Make Memories That Last a Lifetime
Even though it isn't the greenest pursuit, I love travel. It is just one of the ways in which we can connect to our planet and come to love it in all its wondrous variety...by exploration! So even though travel might increase our carbon footprint it is one of those things that I happily forgive because I really do believe that you protect what you care about and exploring your city, county, state, country, and world can be part of that. As long as you do so mindfully, with some planning, and … [Read more...]
