Ways to Celebrate Fall and Make it Magical

By Tiffany 7 Comments

Autumn is a magical time of year. The colors, the textures, the tastes, all of them combine to make you want to just laugh out loud as your scuff through the leaf … [Read more...]

Ask me again in Fall when I may just be singing the praises of apple butter, cider, and pumpkin pie... but for now summer is the yummiest season ever. What are you eating this summer? … [Read more...]

Applesfest – Local Fun, Local Food

By Tiffany 2 Comments

This past weekend the kids and I went to our local apple orchard for Applefest. The orchard grows 26 different varieties of apples and is a family operation. The kids got to pet the farm animals, ride in a horse-drawn wagon, ride in a train car pulled by a lawn mower, make their way through a hay maze, and dance to a live bluegrass band. There favorite part was playing in a sandbox filled with corn kernals. They called … [Read more...]
