Energems – Candy for Working Out

By Tiffany Leave a Comment

Energy candy, chews, jellybeans...for quite awhile know I have known about them and wanted to give them a whirl to see if they really work. My workout routine though really didn't require them. I worked out in the mornings, when I am naturally at my most energetic and fresh. That changed this past month … [Read more...]

By Guest 2 Comments

A guest post by Avelina Kongoi We all know how difficult it can be to lose weight at the best of times but just imagine how hard it is to shed even a single pound of body fat when you’re battling hypothyroidism. The reality is that this is a condition that is affecting more and more people’s lives every single year, and it shows no signs of actually stopping. There are almost 28 million people in America who have been told by their doctors that they have an underactive thyroid. But even … [Read more...]

Lily’s Dark Chocolate

By Tiffany 4 Comments

One of the perks of a paleo diet is that I don't try to limit my chocolate intake. I just make sure it is dark chocolate and I enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!  I have tried so many different and wonderful dark chocolates since I started this new "diet" and I have been blown away by how much I actually like chocolate when I am eating the good stuff. Most of the chocolate marketed to us is crap...nutritionally and taste-wise. One that I tried many weeks ago and forgot to mention (oops!) is Lily's Dark … [Read more...]

Fall in Love with Exercising

By Tiffany 3 Comments

Is exercise something you consider a necessary evil for staying healthy and fit? Is it more drudgery and duty than an eagerly anticipated activity? If so, you're not alone - there are a lot of people who would rather go see the dentist than "exercise". This is why New Year's resolutions to exercise more don't last past February more often than not. If it is something you hate to do or are grudgingly obligated to do then you are not likely to stick with it long term. I think one of the things … [Read more...]

Friday Wrap – Crafty Stuff

By Tiffany 4 Comments

TGIF! Have an awesome weekend everyone! I just got my taxes done so I know I for one have a huge weight off my shoulders and I am ready for some fun. All last week I kept thinking I need some sort of mail/bills organizer to hang on the wall. I assumed that plastic is what I would find along these lines but yet I couldn't find anything that was like what I envisioned. Then I came across this blog post with instructions for making one out of a linen dishcloth...which I have dozens of. Wow! This … [Read more...]
