By Tiffany Leave a Comment

Leaving a wireless router or a microwave plugged in all night for instance. I don't know anyone who microwaves in their sleep and its just plain wasteful. This graphic a great reminder to stop throwing away money while we catch some ZZZZZs. I know I have one or two of these things I need to … [Read more...]

30 Ways to Save Money, Conserve Energy, and Stay Warm This Winter

By Tiffany 12 Comments

A cold snap set in this week and it has me thinking about staying warm. Green Baby Diapers

By Tiffany 180 Comments

Moms have been emailing me quite often lately about cloth diapers...are they the greener choice, which ones are best, etc. I cloth diapered two of my babies and I even owned a cloth diaper manufacturing company and store for a few years. I am a big advocate for cloth diapers. To the right you will see my daughter wearing a tye dye diaper I made for her. So first things first...are they REALLY the green choice in diapering. Yes! Disposable diaper advocates are quick to say that cloth diapers use … [Read more...]

The Virtual Forest

Basically you fill out all the information about your activities and energy usage and they email you a report with all the ways you specifically can improve. I really liked the suggestions too. For instance my … [Read more...]
