As I mentioned previously we checked an item off our summer fun checklist last week. We went to COSI, which in my mind is a science themed children's museum. It has stuff that the whole family will enjoy but it caters to kids for sure. My husband, 6 year old, and I were invited as part of a local blogger event that introduced us to the early learning program they offer there. We attended the early learning class first off and then spent the afternoon wandering around the museum. We feel … [Read more...]
10 Things You Can Do Every Day to Get Happy and Stay Healthy
I just got home from a vigorous CrossFit workout. When I walked in the door my hubby was just about to take off for the golf course but he always asks how my workout was. Today I think he was a little taken aback by my enthusiastic "Awesome!" It was a really tough workout and we had four mini WODs today (WOD=workout of the day). I did squats, pushups, mountain climbers, rope climbing, medball presses, medball wall touches, 100 meter sprints, calf jumps, supermen, bicycles, rowing, sprinters, hip … [Read more...]
Creating a Relaxing, Healthy Spa Experience at Home
I was playing around with my Polyvore account tonight and decided I wanted to go upstairs after a grueling day and relax in the tub. I clipped these items with Polyvore and made a quick collage. Soi Candle - Rosemary Lavender - A totally yummy, eco … [Read more...]
Easter Dinner

We dug out the bunny decorations and fake grass we have used for years. The Easter Dinner table was set... And we were ready to eat! Shortly after I snapped the picture … [Read more...]

My other gym is pretty darn awesome and I still plan to go there three times a week but they are pretty vanilla and just don't have kettlebells, rings, jump boxes, or medicine balls. I toyed with the idea of buying some kettlebells but heck good ones can cost $85 a pop. Plus I know myself well enough to know that I will not work out … [Read more...]
