This week my son has been testing a new mom gadget called My Plate Mate. Basically is a band of circular plastic that fits snugly around 8"-9 1/2" inch plates. It acts as a barrier or wall so that little hands aren't pushing their food onto the floor or table while they eat. It basically gives them a leg up on the self feeding arena by making it easier to get food on a utensil and keep it on the plate. Camping Fun With Kids
Camping with kids may sound like a stressful idea, but it doesn’t have to be. Some input from everyone will help the trip run a little smoother right from the beginning. Do You Eat Dinner Together?
This week (Sept. 16-22) is National Eat Dinner Together week. This is an event that was started in 1996 and although I am not a huge fan of the institution that stared it (National Pork Producers) I think it is a valuable thing to remember...eating together as a family is important.
