If you google this question you will come up with many different answers. For me the most simplistic way to describe what I mean when I refer to homesteading, having a homestead, and being a homesteader is this... What is Urban Homesteading? A homestead is a productive home, a home that brings value. To be a homesteader is to work within or around … [Read more...]

By Tiffany 8 Comments

While I cannot dispute that this is a great tip and great way to save money, I was always firmly in the heck no camp. I don't watch a huge amount of TV but I do have some shows I like to watch...Property Brothers, Outlander, Grimm, Supernatural, etc. Some of those I could watch on my computer but honestly I don't enjoy watching that way. … [Read more...]

I can think of many ways I … [Read more...]

Silence Won’t Finish the Fight Against Cancer

By Tiffany Leave a Comment

The big C. Cancer. I have quite a bit to say about cancer actually because it became a big part of my life 6 years ago next month. I clearly remember the moment when they told me it was cancer that had been making so sick for he previous months. I was so relieved to finally KNOW why I was so sick that I think my doctors thought I was not facing up to facts. I had stage three cancer for sure and they feared that it might have spread to my liver. I went under the knife knowing that I might wake up … [Read more...]
