Why Living Green Is So Important for This Family

By Tiffany 2 Comments

My intro into a more natural and green existence was not born of some desire to save the earth and preserve it for my children. Sure I cared somewhat about being green but saving the planet was not a huge motivator for change in my life. What spurred the changes in my life and caused me to seek out greener pastures was the safety of my kids and a few bad experiences that made me acutely aware of how toxic everything around them was. I found it empowering to research common household products and … [Read more...]

Blue Q Reusable Bags 50% Off

By Tiffany 1 Comment

I have more than a little love for Blue Q. I like to buy products that help me be greener like reusable bags and bottles, that is a given, but Blue Q allows me to have a little fun and show a little personality while doing it. I adore my Boss Lady vintage cowgirl bag. It has become my fave. I ended up gifting my Boss Lady bottle to my mom (my boss lady) but I still have and use my Holy Water and Dick and Jane bottles. Anyway, I see that Reuseit has two of their Blue Q bags on sale for 50% off … [Read more...]

Shopping Cart Baskets

By Tiffany 4 Comments

Loving my shopping cart baskets from Reuseit. Relying on reusable bags can be hit or miss because you may not remember to take them. If you keep them in your car that can be messy if you need a lot (like we do). These baskets, however, are easy to use at the store and don't take up much room in the car. We just fit them inside the shopping cart and fill the cart up as we usually would. Then you, or the person bagging the groceries, just skips the whole bagging part and puts them back in the … [Read more...]

Eating Healthy While Traveling

By Tiffany 8 Comments

Eating healthy while traveling is perhaps one of the most difficult jobs that a health-conscious individual may encounter. Between tight traveling itineraries and the foods that are available, more often than not even those who are health minded will find they have fewer choices than the family who will just swing through the nearest fast food restaurant. Thankfully, however, there is a way to ensure that even while traveling you can avoid the lapse into unhealthy eating. This could be for long … [Read more...]

SHOPPING CART BASKETS

By Tiffany 18 Comments

Cool product alert!!  I am super excited to have found these in my Internet browsing this morning. While I do have more than enough reusable bags there are just times when I forget them. Yes, I put them in the car, I often carry a pocket size bag in my purse even but once I use that and carry it in the house, I am so bad about remembering to put them back. I have ended up getting paper bags more often than I would like to admit. These shopping cart baskets may be just what I need. They are … [Read more...]
