WildCraft Board Game – 50% Off

By Tiffany 6 Comments

I feel it is imperative for me to share every sale or product that comes our way from the company Learning Herbs. Last month or so it was their new book series for kids called Herb Fairies but the gem I have been going on about for years now is called WildCraft. I have long been a fan of this herbal learning board game (read a full review here). We have two of them actually, one for our home and one for grandma's house. I am thoroughly convinced this is the coolest game ever… no seriously… … [Read more...]

Creating a Relaxing, Healthy Spa Experience at Home

By Tiffany 2 Comments

I was playing around with my Polyvore account tonight and decided I wanted to go upstairs after a grueling day and relax in the tub. Then I thought it would be nice if I had a whole spa experience at home while I was at it. Alas it is not to be with kids under foot but I can plan for when hubby is home and I can make my escape for an hour uninterrupted right? I think so. I clipped these items with Polyvore and made a quick collage. Soi Candle - Rosemary Lavender - A totally yummy, eco … [Read more...]

WildCraft – A Game for Holistic Families

By Tiffany 9 Comments

We love to  play games in this house or uh... couldn't tell ya by this post on educational games, or this post on eco theme board games? Until my kids can give me a run at Gin Rummy, Hearts, or Bonco then board games do the trick. For MANY months now the favorite for my kids has been The Farming Game. Mom was getting mighty board with it and I thought they might never find a new favorite. I hate to even say that since it is an awesome game that teaches the concepts of farming, farmer's markets, … [Read more...]

Eco Friendly Yoga Socks

By Tiffany 11 Comments

From some of my other posts you know I am a yoga fan. Yoga is awesome for stretching out those sore muscles you get from sitting too long at a computer...not that I...do that or anything. :) But I ran into a yoga problem at my new house. The room I like to do yoga in (floor to ceiling windows all along one wall) has a hard wood laminate floor and when you do yoga on a rug or a yoga mat...you slip and slide and almost break your neck...or smack your head into the brick fireplace...neither of … [Read more...]

Would you be surprised to learn that spending a small fortune on beauty products is quite unnecessary? All of the ingredients you’ll ever need are in your kitchen or pantry cabinet. Here are two ways in which you can use natural home beauty remedies in a flash. Olive Oil: You cook and bake with it; but did you know you can use it in a variety of other ways? Because olive oil is chemical free, it can be used on your skin; as a bath oil, moisturizer, massager, and conditioner. For example: You … [Read more...]
