Essential Oils for Winter Driving Confidence

By Tiffany 19 Comments

Essential oils for winter driving? Uh What? Yes, when winter finally reared it head this week in the form of snow flurries my mind automatically wandered to essential oils. Why? Because I HATE driving in bad weather. It make me so anxious that I actually avoided it for seven years after moving to Ohio. I only drove on snowy, icy roads maybe once or twice in seven years, until last year when my schedule and lifestyle began to require driving in it almost daily. To get our fill we have to make regular trips to Nana's house where there are two furbabies available to love on. Every year the #1 Christmas gift priority award is bestowed upon those dogs by my kids. Forget everyone else in the family...as long as those doggies have full stockings we are all good. This means I have to be on the lookout for more planet … [Read more...]

Why Minimalist Parenting?

By Tiffany 6 Comments

What is it about being an attached family that lends itself to a minimalist parenting style? Are you criticized by others wondering why your children don’t “have the hottest new item?” I hope this post is not too redundant since I have addressed this subject many times before. My own love of minimalism and going minimalist with kids probably stems from a few different things. First would be my desire to live green. Consumption of less stuff and reusing what you have instead of buying new … [Read more...]
