Paying For Purchases With Your Phone & CurrentC

By Tiffany 6 Comments

I love the idea of paying for your purchases with nothing but a phone. I do so many other things with my phone...ie appointments, investments, banking, bill paying, etc. It only makes sense that I would be down with using an app to pay for the stuff I buy, like groceries. Of course until this week I thought most good options were limited to those who have an iPhone. I am a die hard Android girl and a Samsung Galaxy fan. I was look forward to a reputable app I could use. I like the idea of not … [Read more...]

More Bees Please; How to Attract Bees to Your Yard and Local Community

By Tiffany 5 Comments

Do you know how to attract bees to your yard?  Maybe a better question is why would you possibly want to attract bees to your yard? By Tiffany 5 Comments

A reader recently emailed me and asked about a concern that came up among her local moms group. Some moms insisted that sidewalk chalk has lead in it and others insisted it doesn't. So which is it? Well the connection between sidewalk chalk and lead became headline news in 2003 when several stores recalled chalk for lead. The good news that there haven't been major recalls since, indicating that reformulation has occurred. BUT the chalk that was recalled was not major brand chalk like Crayola … [Read more...]

Free Range Kids Gone Wrong

By Tiffany 20 Comments

I have been reading TONS lately about free range kids. It is a book and a concept that seems to picking up momentum. When I look closer at the way I parent, I feel I have pretty much always allowed my kids to be free range kids. Of course my younger two have fewer freedoms than their older sibling but how wide you let your kids roam is an age appropriate consideration too.
