I know I take water for granted quite often. How about you? I just turn on the tap and out comes a seemingly limitless supply. We use it for drinking, cooking, flushing, and bathing daily and while we might be concerned and a little upset by what is added to our water supply (fluoride, chlorine) we still have relatively safe and clean water at our disposal each and every day. A blog reader pointed out to me recently that I never mention alternative and more eco friendly menstrual products. Chemical Free Pools
Ugh...I thought maybe I would have a little more time before I got hit with this again the kids are already asking if we will be getting a pool this summer. Last year I dodged this issue more times than I can count and I am not looking forward to that again. But I can't blame them. I had a pool growing up and I loved it so I know how they feel. I came across a great article recently about how Debra Lynn Dadd (a personal hero of mine) decided to install an above ground pool at her home and care for it without using chlorine. Why you ask?
