Hygge is not just a word; it's a way of life that embraces comfort, coziness, and creating a warm atmosphere. I immediately fell in love with the concept from the moment I first read about it. In this blog post, we will explore the essence of hygge and … [Read more...]

8 Reasons Why Less Stuff Equals More Happiness

By Tiffany Leave a Comment

Is less really more? Actually the surprising answer is yes. At least it can be if you have the right attitude and outlook. So many people spend a great deal of time and energy trying to acquire "stuff". They think that having more stuff somehow makes them more. They think that acquiring wealth or the things that it buys will bring them happiness and they spend most of their lives chasing that carrot when in actuality happiness is more of a choice than a destination. My decision to stop … [Read more...]

Anyway the books available in this Simplicity Bundle are... 25 Intentional Days - Walks you through a step by step … [Read more...]

Beyond the Sling Book Review

By Tiffany 8 Comments

When I reserved this book from my library I had no idea if I would enjoy it or not. I don't read too many parenting books anymore because my kids are getting older. While attachment parenting is a topic near and dear to me I don't need a refresher on subjects like breastfeeding, babywearing, and co-sleeping so much. Rather I go for books about specific issues nowadays and geared toward older kids. I think I ended up getting it because I really, really like Mayim Bialik. I loved her show Blossom … [Read more...]

Getting Back to the Basics in Life

By Tiffany 10 Comments

It is so very easy to get caught up in the outside demands in our lives and forget about the simple “basic” things that can provide happiness and contentment if we choose to prioritize them. We can get so busy and frantic in our every day living that many people now long to get back to the basics and simplify your life, but they don’t have a clue where to start. It doesn't help that our obsession with a fast track life and material things also means we have to keep up that harried pace to pay … [Read more...]
