By Tiffany 7 Comments

It is all about keeping things in perspective though. Sometimes we need to do a technology cleanse (or detox) if usage is getting out of hand. We also need to remember that life should be experienced with all of our senses and not just viewed with a screen. Kids may need assistance from mom and dad with this … [Read more...]

By Tiffany Leave a Comment

The first activity involves making a pledge to keep after school activities at school or nearby and to carpool with other parents. This isn't much of an issue for me as I am not big on after school activities beyond playing. After school snacks are discussed and they are just as important as what your … [Read more...]

Read Kiddo Read

By Tiffany 4 Comments

I am VERY big on reading. In fact just last week I read 14 books. I was a pretty active kid but if I wasn't out rollerblading, camping, swimming, or skiing as a tween and teen, I had my nose in a book. I married a non-reader though. Hubby reads maybe 1 or 2 books a year. :( When I had kids I knew it was super important to get them excited about reading and luckily it has worked so far. My kids are crazy about books. We read to them a ton and I get just as excited about new kids books as they … [Read more...]

Do you remember that scene in American Beauty where Kevin Spacey is talking about how he just bought the car he always wanted and he lifts up his arms and says "I rule!" Well that was me today only I was saying "I rock!" :) Nell at Casual Friday Everyday is one truly awesome blogger, mom, and internet business guru. She recently received the Rockin' Girl Blogger award and decided to honor me with it as well. Her words about my blog were touching. Thanks Nell! You rock too! I am just happy … [Read more...]
