Herb Scissors – A Super Helpful Kitchen Gadget

By Tiffany 8 Comments

A few weeks back I finally got a pair of the herb scissors that were calling to me on Amazon. They are only $10 and I use them quite often for cutting herbs quickly and with less chance of hacking my fingers off. Since I cook at home every night, anything that shaves some time off the process while still allowing me to cook good, healthy meals is welcome in my kitchen. I think need to update my Real Foods Kitchen post and add these nifty scissors in fact. They make it easy to cut, chop, or … [Read more...]

Flip & Tumble Reusable Produce Bags

By Tiffany 3 Comments

Deal now closed.  The Deal of the Day at Reuseit is for these super practical produce bags. I have stainless steel water bottles that are perfect for the kids to take to school and now I have a nifty new bamboo water bottle from the Bamboo Bottle Company. I have been using it in a variety of settings for a few weeks now and I like it well enough to give it a … [Read more...]

Stainless Steel Sippy Cups

By Tiffany 2 Comments

Plastic Cups for soooo yesterday! Nowadays it is easy to buy kids drinking cups without having to resort to cheap plastic just because you are afraid of breakage. Newer stainless cups do not break and they also do not have the chemical nasties and toxins that plastic does. Stainless lasts a long time and through multiple children so they are economical as well as practical, even if the per cup price is a bit more that what you can buy in the plastic cup section at Walmart. Look at the … [Read more...]
