Creative Cardboard Toys
On the heels of my post on ethical toys and I wanted to post about cardboard toys. They are certainly not new... I remember I had a full size cardboard house that I used to play in when I was a little girl. It was very big, and it was black and white so that you could paint or color it yourself to personalize it. My Backyard Wildlife Habitat
I came across a great post over at Unplug Your Kids, an awesome blog that shares the stories and experiences of a TV free family. The post about creating a certified wildlife habitat in your own backyard caught my eye. I had no idea such a thing was possible but you can have your backyard certified by the National Wildlife Foundation as a wildlife habitat.
