With Fall comes the lovely colors, the cooler weather, and a whole bunch of clean up. Already our small neighborhood is buzzing with the sounds of maintenance guys cleaning up the leaves with leaf blowers, riding mowers with leaf baskets attached, and leaf shredders. Typically our family does not hire anyone to do this annual clean up, we do it ourselves, but boy is it overwhelming. We have the biggest yard in the area I think...over 2 acres and about 75 trees. The amount of leaves is horrendous … [Read more...]
Non Toxic Shower Curtains and Bath Toys

No Plastic Drink Containers Please
I just had to give a shout out for yet another wonderful "green" product. I am loving my new 40oz. stainless steel drinking container from Klean Kanteen. My 7 month old baby boy has just started crawling and his knees and elbows have been getting red and sore from all the friction in those tender areas. I felt so bad for him. L Then I remembered a product I used for him when he a newborn in freezing cold Ohio. BabyLegs! I used them on his legs to keep them extra toasty in below zero weather but they would … [Read more...]
