\"fridayTGIF! Have an awesome weekend everyone!<\/p>\n

As I mentioned briefly yesterday my 3 year old is now attending school 2 times a week for speech issues. He did NOT like yesterdays session at all. He got very frustrated with the speech therapist and I can’t say that I blame him. She was annoying me to. She would ask him to identify something and he would say it although perhaps not well. But if he didn’t say it to her satisfaction she would continue asking 4 to 5 times until he was confused (since he already answered) and mad. She also gave him blocks to use\u00a0for following directions like “put the block in the box” or “put one block on top of the box”. etc. If he didn’t understand the command he would start stacking the blocks to make a tower and she would knock them over. After the 4th time she did this he grabbed her hand and shoved it away, giving her the evil eye. He also hated to have to sit in a chair at a desk when the room around him was filled with toys. I can’t blame him…I HOPE it gets easier because he was not happy when we left. It was difficult for me to watch because he is such a laid back easy child and this therapist brought out the worst in him.<\/p>\n

In other news,\u00a0the kids have been having a blast getting to spend to much time with daddy. He has been home a lot due to his job laying people off for a week at a time here and there. He and I have gotten into watching all the seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/a>\u00a0 together after the kiddos go to bed. We are in the middle of season 3. It is sooo nice to have him not working nights anymore.\u00a0All next week he will be home again although perhaps a little less mobile\u00a0since he plans on visiting his doctor for a little something. We have decided not to have any more kids but I can’t make that resolve surgical without major abdominal surgery due to scar tissue from all my other surgeries. So that leaves the ball in his court, LOL. Let’s see if he actually does it. ;)<\/p>\n

Last week I bought this lunch bag pattern. I am already thinking ahead for the next the next school year when my daughter starts all day kindergarten. I still have tons of fabric form my diaper making days\u00a0that is laminated on side and would be perfect for lunch bags.<\/p>\n

This free scarf pattern is so darn cute it makes me what to learn to crochet pronto!<\/p>\n
