But you don&#8217;t do takeout so much anymore since starting a ketogenic, <a href=\"https:\/\/naturemoms.com\/blog\/2013\/10\/14\/paleo-for-the-planet-why-carnivores-can-have-a-positive-impact\/\">paleo<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/naturemoms.com\/blog\/2012\/12\/05\/my-paleo-update-and-the-whole30\/\">Whole 30<\/a> diet program. Often times the secret in the secret sauce at Asian restaurants is sugar. This is no good if you are trying to avoid carbs and insulin spikes. Oh and the rice and noodles are no good either. So what can you do?!<\/p>\n<p>Eggroll in a bowl my friend&#8230; EGG ROLL IN A BOWL.<\/p>\n<p>Boom.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how to make it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>INGREDIENTS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 Tbsp Olive or avocado oil<br \/>\n1 lb Ground beef<br \/>\n1 Onion (yellow or red)<br \/>\n\u00bd Red and orange pepper<br \/>\n1 16-ounce bag coleslaw mix (shredded carrots and cabbage)<br \/>\n\u2153 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos (my personal fave)<br \/>\n2 Tbsp Sesame oil<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp of Sriracha (optional)<br \/>\nSalt &amp; pepper to taste<br \/>\nGreen onions, for garnish<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>DIRECTIONS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a large skillet, brown beef over medium-high heat.<\/li>\n<li>Add onions and peppers and cook until tender<\/li>\n<li>Add shredded cabbage and mix well<\/li>\n<li>Mix soy sauce or <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2IKq5hD\">coconut aminos<\/a> \/ sesame oil \/ sriracha and add to skillet<\/li>\n<li>Stir and cook for about 5 minutes, make sure the cabbage is still crunchy.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle salt &amp; pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>Top with chopped green onions for garnish and extra crunch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Serves 4<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>INGREDIENT ADJUSTMENTS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PALEO:<\/strong> \u00a0May want to reduce soy sauce and use beef broth instead<\/p>\n<p><strong>KETO:<\/strong> May want to reduce peppers and onion or replace wit broccoli florets and celery, depending on your Carb macro<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>WHOLE 30:<\/strong> \u00a0May want to omit the Sriracha or use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2KRA6KJ\">PaleoChef Sriracha<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Hf0s4KsV8fY\" width=\"520\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So you love Chinese food with a passion.
