Thanks to the Ethicurean for tipping us off to this.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Milk Billboard Vandalized\" style=\"width: 212px; height: 137px\" alt=\"Milk Billboard Vandalized\" hspace=\"10\" src=\"https:\/\/www.naturemoms.com\/milkismilk2.jpg\" align=\"left\" \/>Alex Avery, the research director for the Hudson Institute\u0092s Center for Global Food Issues, expressed frustration today with raw milk activists\u0092 vandalism of a California billboard. You may remeber <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naturemoms.com\/blog\/2006\/08\/19\/who-is-telling-the-truth\/\" target=\"_blank\">my post about the CGFI<\/a> awhile back\u0085they are a big agricorp supporter\u0085heck they are agricorp (ConAgra, Archer Daniels, Monsanto, and Midland).<\/p>\n<p>Under the guise of \u0093protecting\u0094 consumers from misleading labeling, like \u0093rBGH free,\u0094 Avery and his Center for Global Food Issues have launched one of the most transparently ridiculous campaigns ever seen. Milk is Milk.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Milk is Milk\" src=\"https:\/\/www.naturemoms.com\/milkismilk.gif\" align=\"right\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"entry\">Well of course the CGFI hates organic milk advertising that boasts of being free of Monsanto\u0092s synthetic bovine growth hormones \u0097 used to increase milk production at the expense of our health. Since Monsanto is one of the companies behind this bogus organization I can\u0092t believe they expect us to think that the CGFI is interested in anything other than profit.<\/p>\n<div>\nThis is what Mr. Avery had to say: &#8220;Clearly the culprit behind this vandalism does not value his or her life, engaging in two very dangerous activities: defacing private property, and advocating for raw milk. The benefits of milk pasteurization have been proved time and time again. Consuming unpasteurized dairy products poses a serious health risk, especially for children and those with weak immune systems.
