Friday Wrap Up – Your "But" May Be To Big

friday wrap upHave a great weekend everyone! I leave you with a few cool links to check out over the weekend.

Ever wonder why you have so many excuses about going green, eating healthier, spending more time doing what you love, etc (take your pick). MMND might be on to something. Your BUT could be too big. It is a hilarious post…go check it out.

I saw a newspaper article recently about a guy that decided to save all his trash for a year to show how much accumulates and show that there really is no such as thing as throwing away the garbage. It just gets moved somewhere else out of our hair but the garbage doesn’t go away. Check out his blog for more information and for pictures.

One of my favorite blogs, No Impact Man, wrote and awesome post in December that I have been thinking about for awhile. It addresses happiness compared to your consumption level. Will you be happier the more you consume?

Another blog I find yummy is Materialicious. I swear I am like a moth to a flame where that blog is concerned and yesterday it revealed to me why I DO in fact want to buy a small spot of land out in the countryside…so I can build a getaway shack like this one. It is only 140 SF and it is amazing!

And the last cool thing I found is a video explaining how to reuse your Christmas cards (or any cards for that matter). Turn your Christmas cards into gift boxes with the power of origami! I almost fell asleep during the video but the end result is soooo cute. These would make neato recycled baby shower/wedding favors.

Ooh, I want a get-away shack like that one, too! That is so cool. Great link finds, Tiffany. No Impact Man is one of my faves as well. Thanks for introducing me to some neat new blogs! And for linking to my BUT post as well.

    Hi Tiffany:

Recycling Christmas cards is a great idea, not sure if it’s one I’ll end up doing, but it does feel bad to be ditching these cards that are filled with such warm greetings from my family and friends. By the way I tagged you on my blog!
