Guess what? Today is my birthday. I am 31 years young today.
So in honor of that I thought I would highlight one of my favorite natural toys from Melissa and Doug…the Birthday Party toy.
This really cool wooden birthday cake pretend-play set includes a lovely cake with 6 slices, removable candles and toppings, and a cake server. It is colorful and exciting for little ones…especially ones that like playing with pretend food, doing tea parties, and generally love a good birthday party. This set provides hours of imaginative play.
All of the pieces fit into a wooden box (love that common feature with Melissa and Doug) making storage easy. We have several of these boxes and they can stacked on top of each other. It has 34 fun pieces total. And of course it is made of wood and finished with nontoxic paint.
Also see the Pizza Party set. They are only $17.99 each at KangarooBoo!
Happy Birthday!
I just gave my daughter that exact birthday cake set for her birthday. She loves it!
Happy Birthday!
We have the pizza set – little man loves it! I guess I should get him the bday cake set for his bday next month!
Happy Birthday! Mine is Friday ~ I’ll be 30 :) My son’s bday is next month and that birthday cake is on my list to get for him, I know he’ll love it!
I love all of Melissa and Doug’s stuff.
AND
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday, I hope you had a wonderful day!
I love this set. They also have the coolest “sushi” set. I about died laughing when I saw it. I guess it probably resonates most with the left coast folks, having a sushi restaurant on every block.
I love Melissa and Doug as well. But since our family is trying to support locally made toys which would help with a sustainable environment, we were very dismayed to find out we could no longer buy their beautiful creations as they are made in China. Stinks…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! That cake set does look fun! I love the Melissa & Doug Magnetic Dress-Up Dolls. I also buy a lot of their stuff on Amazon. I’ve already begun Christmas shopping… shhhh…
Happy belated birthday — thanks for all of the terrific information you share on your blog.
Fran
p.s. we share the same b’day! only mine happened 12 years later :-)
