Wysi Wipes – A Review

Wysi WipesI got some Wysi Wipes recently to test out and we took them on our road trip to Pittsburgh. We are not big on anything disposable but of course there are times (at least for us) when we are traveling and we really need a disposable wipe. I “try” to bring cloth wipes that I use along with cloth diapers but I admit I don’t plan that well many times. Wysi Wipes are actually a pretty ingenious invention and they are pretty planet friendly despite their disposable status. They are an alternative to pre-moistened towelettes, facial tissue or paper towels. They are 100% natural. No chemicals and no artificial scents. They are also about the size of a peanut M&M…when you need one you simply add water and it only takes a tablespoon!

I used a few on our trip and then put them in wet bag for the trip home. Once at home I rinsed them out and I still have them to use again…they are very durable. Once they start getting raggedy I will put them in our compost because they are 100% biodegradable.

I put a few in our glove compartment and in our first aid kits…they would make and awesome gauze bandage. My fave use though is to clean my computer screen. I hate using cloth on it even because I am so terrified of scratches but these are perfect and the same one should last me a looong time. They would also be great for camping. Check them out here.

Wow!!! Those sound like some very useful wipes. I too use cloth diapers and wipes, but sometimes another type of wipe just has to be used. lol

  3. you are a mind reader! i was just having a discussion with a friend that we needed a more environmentally friendly way to clean up our children’s sticky faces other then baby wipes while on the road… And Ta Da, you delivered. Thanks for the review.
