This weekend I took the kids to an Apple Festival at a local orchard. In addition to buying a ton of yummy apples we had a great time. This kids went on a hayride, went through a corn maze, pet some animals, and played in a box of corn-sand (as they called it). This a yearly treat we always look forward too…though it was not without some tantrums when we had to leave. ;) My youngest loved walking through a field maze and trying to taste every plant we came across. This kid is a total vegan…he would rather eat house plants than anything else. I have to watch him like a hawk.
how fun!! I wish our town had more stuff like this.
@the third picture, those are some beautiful apples
What a great time! Like I have said before, your kids are gorgeous. You are one blessed woman!
Love the apple festivals! Such a great time of year. We went a few weeks back and there were horses there as well! Good times for the whole family!
My kids are so disappointed that we missed the local apple picking season this year. Just didn’t get a chance to get out there, and the local orchards tend to be done being open to the public by the end of September, at least going by past experience.
Oh well, the pumpkin patches will open up soon.
How fun!!! Love your blog… as always :)
Lovely blog and adorable children!!!
Your kids are absolutely beautiful.
Hi! Fellow Ohio homeschoolin’ mama delurking to say hello… have read you for ages! Great apple pics — we just did Charlie’s Apples and it was a very yummy field trip :)

Thanks everyone for the lovely compliments. I am very blessed with such great kiddos.
That looks like some serious fun! We have a fall party to go to next week and I know the kids will be having fun.
