1. Up our winter activities with winter hikes, sledding, ice skating, snow tubing, and evening walks.
2. Get more involved with our metro parks and our city parks and recreation offerings… nature hikes, educational classes, etc.
3. Plan a garden for the new house, utilizing the yard and patio.
4. Join some local photography classes and photo walks. Take more pictures, hone my craft.
5. Save for and buy an older RV or pop up tent trailer for camping and fix it up. Do any mechanical work myself or with my husband.
6. Help my parents fix up their home to sell by summer so we can move back to Arizona. I would rather stay here but I am overruled.
7. Learn to make more of my own herbal remedies and personal care products.
8. De-clutter and simplify! Seek outside (paid) help more often for deep cleaning.
9. Dedicate more time to crafty projects for me and the kids.
10. Regularly volunteer my time and energy to those less fortunate.
Oh and please, please let my youngest son's new year's resolution be that he start using the potty, just sayin…

These are great goals. I too am planning my garden.
We bought a used pop-up trailer for our family a little over a year ago, and it was money well spent. Our daughter loves to go camping and it is perfect for quick weekend getaways, and nice long vacations. We purchased a rather large Starcraft, which is perfect for inviting friends along for the adventure. Good luck with your goals!
I love this post! I am also wanting to plant a garden this year. I’m thinking of utilizing the square foot gardening method. How are you planning on doing it?
Jennifer, I was thinking about trying square foot gardening too.. since we have so little space and container gardening for the patio.
Nice laundry list to get done!
That’s a great list of goals!
Good list Tiffany – served to remind me of a few important things. I was just thinking this week that I’d like to get out into our parks more as part of my health routine in 2010. My teen has been urging me to get out on the trails more and I’ve been putting it off but no longer.
I feel guilty I haven’t volunteered in the community for a few years now. I’ll be looking to your blog for continued inspiration in that regard :)
You’re going to be moving back to Arizona? Right about now I can see why (warmth!!). I’ve been enjoying rural Ohio vicariously through you as it reminds of my years living there when the kids were toddlers. I’ll miss that.
All the best to you in 2010!
