We have been baking up a storm in this house. My urge to heat up the oven and make a Pumpkin Soufflé started when I came across this recipe on Balanced Bites. It's a super easy Soufflé recipe that we all loved. After that initial foray we modified it a bit, adding more maple syrup and even adding a maple flavored cream cheese. Delish! We used our own homemade pumpkin puree too. It can't get any easier than this recipe, that is for sure, but the it didn't feel or look like a Soufflé … [Read more...]
The Yummiest Salad You’ll Ever Eat
This is the yummiest salad you'll ever eat or a close second or third. I swear it is sooooo very good. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Breakfast Cookies or Nests – No Bake!

Well this weekend I found a darn near perfect solution and I am rather … [Read more...]

I only want super dark chocolate, which is harder to find unless I drive to a health foods store. Not sure why I am experiencing these cravings but I feel comfortable just going with it. Buddha Chocolate sent me some of their … [Read more...]

Healthy eating is such a subjective thing. Or is it? Everyone has their own ideas of what is healthy. Many swear by tofu and I think it is a bad idea. Others think that fat is the devil and I think no such thing. Can we ever agree? Well, I do happen to agree for the most part with Real Simple magazine's list of 30 healthiest foods... not that they are the healthiest per say but it is a pretty good list of healthy foods. I thought it would be fun to go through their list and see how regularly my … [Read more...]
