Simple Living Ebook Bundle

By Tiffany Leave a Comment

The topic for the bundle of the week is perfectly aligned with my values and interests. I am pretty excited about it. I think it has to be my favorite bundle yet and there have been some good ones! I like to download these books to my DropBox and enjoy them on-the-go or from the comfort of my bed, via my  tablet. I cannot even believe I held out against ebooks so long. Anyway the books available in this Simplicity Bundle are... 25 Intentional Days - Walks you through a step by step … [Read more...]

My intro into a more natural and green existence was not born of some desire to save the earth and preserve it for my children. Sure I cared somewhat about being green but saving the planet was not a huge motivator for change in my life. What spurred the changes in my life and caused me to seek out greener pastures was the safety of my kids and a few bad experiences that made me acutely aware of how toxic everything around them was. I found it empowering to research common household products and … [Read more...]

Go Green Get Fit – Week Four

By Tiffany 3 Comments

I’m one of 30 bloggers participating in the 12-week Go Green, Get Fit Challenge as part of the EcoMom Alliance Sustain YourSelf™ Program presented by PlanetShoes.com. This is my week four update, you can read about week three here. The temperature outside reached scorching last week and that impacted my workouts. I also took time off for the 4th and don't regret a minute of it. In fact, I had so much fun I am repeating it this week. Also a factor is the fact that my local CrossFit box has fewer … [Read more...]

The LunchBots Trio

By Tiffany 5 Comments

I have been a LunchBots fan for quite awhile. I have the LunchBots Duo and have used it for years now. I use it to store kiddie snacks on the road, I use it for school lunches, and I use it for my own snacks and lunch on occasion. It was this particular lunchbox that I took with me to a seminar I attended recently in fact. So color me overjoyed to try one of their new lunchboxes. I have eyed the Trio and the Quad with much desire. The folks at LunchBots kindly sent me the Trio and I have used … [Read more...]

Why Minimalist Parenting?

By Tiffany 6 Comments

What is it about being an attached family that lends itself to a minimalist parenting style? Are you criticized by others wondering why your children don’t “have the hottest new item?” I hope this post is not too redundant since I have addressed this subject many times before. My own love of minimalism and going minimalist with kids probably stems from a few different things. First would be my desire to live green. Consumption of less stuff and reusing what you have instead of buying new … [Read more...]
