Herb Fairies – Herbal Learning Adventure for Kids

By Tiffany 3 Comments

Each and every year I sing the praises of the Wildcraft Game from Herbal Learning. We have had our game for 4-5 years years now and love it still. It takes an educational topic (in this case medicinal herbs) and puts into a format that kids will not only enjoy, but adore...a board game. They have fun and play a great game while they learn about a very important subject that seems to be generally ignored nowadays. I think it is incredibly valuable to teach our children that plants can help us … [Read more...]

Vibram Five Fingers – Half Off Sale!

By Tiffany 1 Comment

Vibram Five Fingers are one of my fave shoes brands. They are minimalist shoes that are oh so so comfy and good for the health of your feet. I wear toe shoes literally every single week day...to the gym where I run in them, jump in them, and lift heavy weights in them. My husband also wears them and he has the men's version of the ones seen … [Read more...]

Throwing food away is highly wasteful and hurtful to our planet. There is a movement out there that wants to change all that, and the movement is … [Read more...]

Welcoming Fall

By Tiffany 2 Comments

We have spent the past few days celebrating... Mabon, The Autumn Equinox, Feast of the Ingathering, Alban Elfed, the start of Fall. It is glorious. During the evenings it is nice to welcome the dark that comes ever so much earlier now and eat by candlelight. During the day we spend time outside in the cool, crisp air and let the elusive sun kiss our cheeks. We went to an annual Apple Festival, rode on hay covered wagons, drank apple cider floats, and we picked our own apples in the orchard. … [Read more...]
